  43. To give a feel for that, we use 3 meter dishes and 400 watt TWT
  44. amps at Ku Band to just get a sparklie free video picture on a 
  45. GE K2 transponder (the most senstive in our footprint). That's 
  46. a hell of an ERP for most amateurs to think about generating.

  87. For Shuttle, just say the phonetics of your callsign.  For istance, Kilo
  88. Delta Victor Yanke Victor for me KD6VYV.  If they hear you they will
  89. repeat your callsign and give you a reference number.  They change
  90. channels between the four randomly.  So you wont know what channel they
  91. are listening to even though you hear them on 145.550!  They do this to
  92. get rid of the huge pileups they would get if everyone was trying to
  93. transmit on the same freq.  Good luck,

  182. long time.
